Hiking in search of waterfalls, a bit of rock climbing, diving into crystal clear pools, trying your balance on a slack-line over the river, even rappelling down the Jä Wäkta waterfalls; this tour has it all!!
We meet at the Rock Climbing office and take a scenic drive to where we begin our guided hike in search of the Jä Wäkta waterfalls. Jä Wäkta was named by the indigenous Ngäbe of that region and basically is translated as flat rock which makes this waterfall an ideal location for all the activities we have in store for you.
Once we reach our destination, you have free time to:

- Slack-line instruction

- Waterfall Rappel ($15 additional if you wish to participate)

Children: Ages 5 and up welcome! Child pricing the same as adult. Although this tour is open to young children as it does not require any skills or strength, it is advised that they at least have sufficient swimming experience as we spend a lot of time on the river and next to the pools.
Insider's Note: Slack-lining is probably the most fun you can have crossing a river. Imagine a tightrope, except wider and flat. It is placed just a few feet above the water, so if you fall the only thing you have to worry about is getting wet. I highly recommend everyone giving this a try as it was the highlight of my day...and not something you get to practice much back home.
