Whether it is your very first attempt at rock climbing or you are an experienced professional, our Boquete Rock Climbing guides can find a route that is perfect for you! Our skilled team of experts combined with all the best safety gear and instruction put Boquete Rock Climbing at the top of everyone´s must do list in Panama. Our certified instructors will assess your experience and demonstrated skills and decide which route is best for you.
El Gunko (5.6 - 5.11a*): Basic to Intermediate Rock Climbers, 15 Routes. This is a great starting point for everyone with several fun routes, and just challenging enough so you feel a real accomplishment even if you have prior experience rock climbing.
Mana (5.11a - 5.12d): Advanced Rock Climbers , 7 Routes. This is a more challenging course for those with a lot of rock climbing experience.
Legacy (5.10a - 5.13a): Elite Rock Climbers, 6 Routes. This extremely challenging course requires extensive experience that will need to be assessed by our Boquete Rock Climbing certified guides.
Paradiso (5.13a): Elite Rock Climbers, only one route to the top. This one is guaranteed to get anyone´s adrenaline pumping!
Every tour with Boquete Rock Climbing begins with the certified guides assisting you gear up, warm up and safety instruction for everyone. Once assessed, participants with Rock Climbing experience will have 3 hours to climb the basaltic rock routes of their choice. Those of you experiencing Rock Climbing for the first time will be taking turns one on one with a guide as you challenge yourself with increasingly difficult routes in the Gunko section of the wall.
Rock climbing is not just a physical challenge; it requires focus of the mind, body, and soul. Our expert guides ensure you achieve this safely. We invite you to challenge yourself this vacation for an experience of a lifetime.

Insider’s Note: I would not have believed it if I had not seen it for myself. This truly can be a family activity. Children as young as 5 years old are able to scale the unique basalt rock formations with the guidance of this team. As a first timer I found it challenging, yet easy if I really concentrated and followed instructions. I highly recommend you do not miss out on the opportunity.
